L’Estro Armonico String Orchestra

I first came across Perry’s work in August 2019. I was in need of a different outlook, or more or less, a different perception of our ensemble. Perry came highly recommended and our first meeting was at a dignitaries function in Ashfield NSW for which my orchestra was performing a short recital for the Federation of the Polish Association, marking the 80th Anniversary of the beginning of WW2.

I spoke with Perry for a short moment before sound check, explaining our requirements and what I had hoped for. A few short sentences were all he needed to understand what I was after. Needless to say, when I received his photos for the first time I was speechless. Perry’s artistry and professional approach to his work were beyond spectacular. When viewing his work, you realise that he doesn’t just take a photo, he frames a moment in time and allows the viewer not only the ability to see the photo but to hear and sense its moment.

Up until I met Perry, I’d worked with three different photographers who had been involved within our orchestra, and now each time we are in need of a photographer, I cross my fingers as I call him to see if he is available before I approach anyone else.

I can not recommend Perry more highly, not only am I in awe of his work but so are all our members and their families and friends.

Almost four years later I still anticipate his email with our photos attached after each concert, just for the ‘Ahhhh’ and ‘Breathless’ moments as I view one photo after another, and I must add that his black and white pictures are by far superior to many.

I hope to continue working with Perry for many years, as I am positive his work will continue to delight.
